Accel backs $300m series F in US developer platform Vercel

Vercel, a US-based cloud platform for building and deploying websites, has raised US$300 million in a series F round, bringing its valuation to US$9.3 billion.

The round was co-led by Accel and Singapore’s GIC, with participation from BlackRock, StepStone, and Khosla Ventures.

Vercel will use the new funding to expand its AI Cloud offerings, enhance security, and invest in its AI development agent, v0.

The company, which counts OpenAI, Anthropic, PayPal, Nike, and Walmart as customers, also said its user base doubled and revenue rose 82% in the past year.

Vercel plans to launch v0 Mobile in October, enabling developers to build apps using voice and camera features.
