Abu Dhabi has launched its Digital Strategy for 2025-2027 with plans to become the world’s first fully AI-driven government.

The initiative, led by the Department of Government Enablement, will invest 13 billion dirham (US$3.5 billion).

This investment will automate various government processes, integrate sovereign cloud services, and introduce over 200 AI-powered solutions in governmental operations.

It is expected to generate 24 billion dirham (US$6.53 billion) for Abu Dhabi’s economy by 2027 and create over 5,000 jobs, supporting Emiratisation targets.

Abu Dhabi is also collaborating with the Advanced Technology Research Council and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence for AI research and upskilling.
