A16z-backed AI coding platform Replit raises $400m
Replit, an AI coding platform, raised US$400 million at a US$9 billion valuation.
Investors included Georgian, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), and the Qatar Investment Authority, the company said, among others.
The firm said it will use the funds for expansion in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and for product development, and infrastructure capacity.
Replit said it has more than 50 million users and that users from 85% of the Fortune 500 build on its platform.
The company said it is on track to hit US$1 billion in run-rate revenue by the end of 2026.
