🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Stuut focuses on speed across the AR workflow
- Traditional AR platforms include HighRadius, Billtrust, and Versapay (established vendors in receivables software) 1. These tools need people to manage queues and exceptions. Stuut handles work from start to finish, covering collections and payment matching 1. It also manages dispute resolution and deductions 1.
- Older AR software can take 12 to 24 months to deploy. Stuut says it can be up next week. CharterUp, a group transportation marketplace, went live in two days and collected $3.4 million 2. Collections rose 20 percent 2.
- Stuut learns each customer’s payment behavior and communication preferences across the AR lifecycle. Shared context carries across email, SMS, and voice 3.
- At PerkinElmer, Stuut automated over 80 percent of work on tail customers (smaller, long-tail accounts). Overdue invoices fell from 50 percent to 15 percent in the first year 1.
Partners can earn early revenue as Stuut moves into order to cash (the process from customer order through payment)
- Stuut connects to SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 3. Product pages list Credit as coming soon (a credit management connector) 3. Deeper ERP links and middleware (integration software) could open paid work for systems integrators (consultancies that deploy complex software) 3.
- Click to pay plus outreach across email, SMS, and voice set up partnerships with payment processors 3. Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) providers can help add these channels across many customers 3.
- Independent software vendors (ISVs) that build industry specific ERP extensions can bundle Stuut’s AR automation to stand out and earn services revenue from joint customer implementations 4.
