A16z, Bessemer lead $350m round for US startup EliseAI

New York-based startup EliseAI, which builds AI tools to automate administrative work for housing and healthcare systems, said on September 30 that it had raised US$350 million in a funding round that valued the company at US$4 billion.

Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners led the round. Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Sapphire Ventures, and Navitas Capital also participated.

EliseAI said it would use the capital to expand its engineering, deployment, and sales teams, and make San Francisco a second engineering hub alongside its New York headquarters.

The company said it worked in housing and healthcare, with a focus on property management.

The new financing follows a US$250 million series E round, EliseAI said.
