Anysphere, the startup behind the viral AI coding app Cursor, has acquired talent from the AI startup Koala to enhance its enterprise capabilities.

Several engineers from Koala will join Cursor, but Koala’s core CRM product will not be integrated.

Koala, which raised US$15 million in a series A funding round earlier this year, will shut down in September.

The company had around 30 employees and served clients such as Vercel and Retool.

Anysphere has not provided additional details on the acquisition.

In June, the A16z-backed company reported reaching US$500 million in annual recurring revenue and claims partnerships with over half of the Fortune 500, including Nvidia and Adobe.
