58% of Singapore firms report AI-driven phishing attacks: survey
Yubico, a cybersecurity firm based in Sweden and the US and known for its YubiKey authentication devices, said a 2026 survey with Okta. The survey found that 58% of respondents in Singapore reported at least one successful AI-driven phishing attack in their organization in the past year.
Conducted by Talker Research, the survey polled 1,890 technology and security professionals at organizations with at least 500 employees in nine countries.
In Singapore, 81% said their organizations enforced multi-factor authentication across all applications and services. Another 41% said they used usernames and passwords for work accounts.
On AI agents, 60% of respondents in Singapore were comfortable letting them communicate with colleagues or clients on their behalf. Separately, 95% said it was important to review and approve an AI agent’s actions before execution.
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore has warned the public about phishing scams, has published the Singapore Cyber Landscape 2024/2025 threat overview, and has issued alerts on phishing campaigns.
