Chinese EV manufacturer Zeekr and autonomous driving company WeRide have received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission to issue shares on US stock exchanges, following new rules facilitating foreign IPOs for Chinese firms.

The rules, focusing significantly on data security, have slowed the rate of Chinese IPOs in the US.
