YouTube will launch its first official live commerce shopping channel in South Korea on June 30, as part of a 90-day pilot project. The channel will initially provide a live commerce platform for approximately 30 brands, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap. The tech and streaming giant reportedly sees the country as a key market to test its live commerce capabilities and grow its shopping platform.
