Chinese electric-vehicle startup Xpeng aims to expand X NGP – its advanced driver assistance system – to 50 Chinese cities by end-2023, and across the country by the end of next year.

This system will enable some of Xpeng’s cars – including the P7, G9, P5 and G6 – to have autonomous driving capabilities. Xpeng also said that X NGP can function in areas not covered by high-precision maps.
