Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has reported a 49% drop in Q1 revenue and a net loss of US$598 million, as it faces competition from rivals such as Tesla and pivots away from internal combustion vehicles. The company is set to complete a merger with Black Spade Acquisition in July, valuing VinFast at US$23 billion.
