Vanguard has slashed the value of its stake in Indian ride-hailing firm Ola by more than half since its initial investment, reducing Ola’s valuation to roughly US$3.5 billion.

This follows a trend of high-profile Indian startups having their valuations diminished by investors due to worsening global market conditions.
