Indian B2B commerce firm Udaan saw its revenue fall by 43% to US$676 million in FYE 2023, following cost-cutting measures including layoffs. However, its losses narrowed by 33% to US$249 million as a result of reduced staff costs and a decrease in operational regions. Udaan’s focus has shifted towards existing customers and encouraging repeat business.
