TikTok has responded to the demand from Thierry Breton, European Union’s industry chief, for measures to counter hate and disinformation regarding the Middle East conflict.

The app said it has taken actions such as improving its automated detection systems, adding more Arabic- and Hebrew-speaking moderators, and increasing cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
