TerraPay, a global payments infrastructure firm, has been given preliminary approval for a Major Payment Institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. This will allow the company to expand its network, which enables money transfers to 208 countries and payment receipt from 120.

TerraPay plans to use the license to further grow its presence and partnerships in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
