Taiwanese tech companies are helping Huawei in creating a network of chip plants across southern China. This includes companies such as chip material reseller Topco Scientific and a subsidiary of L&K Engineering.

This collaboration is considered controversial due to the strained relationship between Taiwan and Beijing.
