SOSV has invested in five Pakistani startups, committing US$180,000 each to Truckistan, BusCaro, Metamorph, Umrah Companions, and MedIQ Smart Healthcare. The companies may also raise follow-on funding from Orbit Startups, a startup enabler that was originally launched by SOSV.

According to William Bao Bean, SOSV’s managing director, the VC firm has now invested a total of US$5 million in 21 Pakistani startups.
