SK Hynix posted an operating loss of US$1.3 billion during the third quarter on the back of memory chip market slump. However, the South Korean chipmaker sees a recovery due to increased demand for high-performance memory chips. The company’s revenue also jumped 24% in the quarter, showing signs of improvement.
