Siemens is investing US$2.2 billion to develop high-tech manufacturing projects, including a US$216 million plant in Singapore for factory automation devices and a US$151 million expansion of its digital facility in China with a new R&D centre. Additional plans for Europe and the US are expected to be revealed this year.
