Sleepwell brand owner Sheela Foam has agreed to acquire a 35% stake in furniture rental startup Furlenco in a deal worth US$285 million. It also plans to buy rival mattress maker Kurlon for US$248.1 million.

The move is part of Sheela Foam’s consolidation efforts and strategy to diversify their customer base and portfolio.
