Sequoia Capital, a key global venture capital firm, is facing significant disruption following a market upheaval, split, and multiple investor departures, including its long-time partner Michael Moritz. Departed partners were instrumental in investments like FTX, the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange that cost Sequoia US$214 million. The firm’s total venture assets have decreased from US$85 billion in March 2022, to US$55.58 billion.
