The US House Select Committee on China is probing Sequoia Capital’s investments in Chinese tech firms, particularly in the AI, semiconductor, and quantum computing sectors.

The scrutiny comes after the VC firm split its operations into three independent firms, including the rebranded Sequoia China – now known as HongShan.
