Pocketalk Corp., the creator of Japan’s top voice-and-camera translator device, is aiming for a Nasdaq listing within two years at a US$1 billion valuation. Having sold over 1.1 million devices since its launch in 2017, the firm aims to sell another million across 11 countries in the next three years, banking on its strength of having multiple translation engines. Its device can translate 85 languages.
