In 50 Words: Nvidia to make CPUs for Windows devices with Arm tech
Nvidia has reportedly started developing CPU chips for Windows devices using tech from Arm Holdings, which is owned by SoftBank Group.
This is part of Microsoft’s efforts to encourage chipmakers to create Arm-based processors for Windows PCs and laptops. Apple had previously moved to using in-house chips based on Arm’s technology for Mac devices.
