Microsoft is set to invest about US$3.2 billion in Australia – the tech giant’s largest-ever investment in the country – over the next two years to boost the cloud computing and AI infrastructure as well as cybersecurity resources there.
Microsoft also said it is building a Microsoft Datacentre Academy and collaborating with Australian Signals Directorate to enhance cybersecurity.
