Global investment firm KKR has closed KKR Next Generation Technology Growth Fund III, its third tech growth fund, with US$3 billion in capital commitments.

Of the amount, US$400 million came from the company’s employees. KKR’s previous tech growth funds primarily went to software firms, particularly those in cybersecurity.
