IBC has signed a US$972 million deal to build a battery manufacturing facility in India’s Karnataka state. Set to produce lithium-ion cells, the factory will occupy 100 acres and is expected to begin production in 2025, aiming to achieve a capacity of 10 gigawatts by 2028.
