AI startup Hugging Face may soon be valued at US$4 billion as it eyes a series D funding round that may raise over US$200 million. Ashton Kutcher’s venture firm, Sound Ventures, is currently leading Hugging Face’s funding round.

Huging Face is a hub for machine learning experts and enthusiasts that the company offers for free. It generates revenue by offering security and corporate tools.

The potential raise comes after a revenue spike this year, with the company’s revenue run rate now between US$30 million to US$50 million.
