Gogoro, an electric two-wheeler major, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for the development of a wide-scale battery-swapping ecosystem for two-wheel vehicles across India.

Globally, Gogoro said it supports nearly 600,000 riders with more than 12,000 battery-swapping stations in over 2,500 locations. It has also conducted close to 500 million battery swaps to date.
