GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, is reportedly planning to lead a US$40 million series C funding round for Vegrow, an Indian fruit marketplace.

The round would value the startup, which connects wholesalers and farmers across 100 plus cities, at close to US$250 million, though terms are yet to be finalized.
