Indonesian fintech unicorn Xendit has joined the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) open finance pilot, building the program’s API infrastructure to faciliate the flow of financial data.

Open finance will widen consumers’ access to financial services and credit, resulting in increased financial visibility and greater inclusion, BSP says. The pilot is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
