Engine Biosciences, a biotech startup based in Singapore and Silicon Valley, has secured US$27 million in a series A extension, bringing the total funding raised so far to US$86 million. The latest round was led by Polaris Partners and included contributions from new investors Coronet Ventures and Seeds Capital.

Engine Biosciences will use the funds to further develop precision medicines for cancer.
