Chinese aerial vehicle company EHang has received permission to begin its trial air-taxi operations this year. This comes after the firm secured the country’s first certificate of airworthiness.

EHang has garnered 100 domestic pre-orders and 1,200 foreign pre-orders for its two-passenger aircraft. The latter includes pre-orders from Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
