In 50 Words: Edamama raises series A+ round to boost offline expansion

Philippines-based Edamama, a parenting-focused ecommerce platform, has raised series A+ funding in a round led by the Ayala Corporation Technology Innovation Venture Fund.

Edamama will use the funds – which pushed its total raised to US$35 million, for its offline expansion strategy, with plans to launch a new physical store by the end of the year.

While the company did not specify the amount it raised through the series A round, it had previously secured US$25 million in disclosed funding, according to Tech in Asia data.

Correction (November 20, 6:45 pm): This article was updated to state that Edamama raised US$35 million in total, not just through the series A+ round.
