In a bid to manage AI risks, top AI developers have agreed to cooperate with governments on testing new frontier models prior to their deployment, following the UK’s AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated that this, along with the commitment to establish a global risk panel, would “tip the balance in favor of humanity.”

The accord was reached by politicians from the US, EU, and China, as well as various tech businesses.
