Delivery Hero, the German food delivery company, may sell its Foodpanda business in Malaysia by December, sources told New Strait Times.

Singapore-based Grab could be a potential buyer. Despite a recent loss, Grab’s stocks could potentially benefit from this acquisition.

The deal is yet to have a confirmed value but would help Delivery Hero focus on profitability. It is also reportedly looking to sell six other Foodpanda branches in Southeast Asia.
