Alibaba CEO Daniel Zhang is stepping down from his role at the group’s cloud unit. The firm had previously announced that Zhang would focus on the division following his resignation as group CEO and chairman. Eddie Wu, the incoming group CEO, will also oversee the cloud business. Alibaba’s board expressed its gratitude for Zhang’s contributions.
