Coinbase has assured users in India that it is still committed to operating in the country, even after disabling new sign-ups in June.

It had also told some Indian customers that failed to meet updated standards that they will have until September 25 to move their assets before they lose access to Coinbase’s services.

The move comes after a year of regulatory challenges and unsuccessful dealings with local authorities.
