In September, China’s new-energy passenger car exports more than doubled, marking a 107% increase from the previous year. Most of the exported vehicles were from Tesla, BYD, and SAIC.

This news comes as the European Commission is investigating China’s subsidies to the electric vehicle industry, suggesting these may distort the market.
