Baidu CEO, Robin Li, announced that, in total, there are already over 70 AI language models with over 1 billion parameters introduced in China. Besides Baidu, other players that have launched AI chatbots include SenseTime, Zhipu AI, and MiniMax.

Li also mentioned that Baidu’s chatbot, Ernie 3.5, offers double the processing speed and 50% higher efficiency than its predecessor, with plans for a new version soon.
