China’s National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) has greenlit 89 new video games for June, its largest batch this year. The list includes titles from Youzu Interactive and NetEase, but excludes Tencent Holdings. More than 85 games have been approved each month in 2023, compared to just a few dozen immediately after the NPPA resumed its monthly license list last year.
