The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), the charity foundation led by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, has reportedly laid off 48 employees, most of them from the education department.

The layoffs, described as a “bloodbath” by a CZI employee, indicate a structural change within the organization, according to a company representative.
