After a challenging expansion into the gaming sector, ByteDance is in discussion to sell its gaming division Moonton Technology due to its disappointing performance since it was acquired by the TikTok parent firm in 2021.

The negotiations are in the early stages, with potential buyers including a Saudi Arabia-based company, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
