Hong Kong-based ecommerce and logistics platform Buyandship has bagged US$10 million in a Cool Japan Fund-led series B round.

The company plans to use the funds for operational automation, AI and machine learning R&D, and market expansion in Southeast Asia.

The Cool Japan Fund is a public-private fund backed by the Japanese government.
