Despite economic turmoil and a price war, Chinese electric-vehicle manufacturer BYD is optimistic about selling three million clean vehicles this year, chairman Wang Chuanfu said. BYD, backed by Warren Buffett, reported a 145% increase in Q2 profit and a 67% increase in revenue, showing resistance toward joining the price war.
