Binance Australia is under investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) over its classification of retail and wholesale clients within its now-closed local derivatives business. The ASIC conducted searches at Binance offices as part of the ongoing inspection. Binance, globally under probing, is cooperating with the investigation.
