Ant Group is developing Zhen Yi, a large-language model to power ChatGPT-style services and compete in next-generation AI. The project will be handled by a dedicated unit and deploy in-house research. Ant continues to invest heavily in R&D, after spending nearly US$2.8 billion on the effort last year.
