Amazon announced it would invest US$15 million in nature-based projects in Asia Pacific through its US$100 million Right Now Climate Fund.

Of the US$15 million, about US$3 million will go toward initiatives in India. The commitment will aid in local conservation efforts and support communities within the Western Ghats, a major biodiversity hotspot.
