Alibaba’s new CEO, Eddie Wu, outlined his plans to prioritize the needs of its users and implementation of AI, according to an internal letter.

Wu also outlined a focus on promoting younger employees – those born after 1985 – to top management positions to maintain a “startup mindset.” This comes amid Alibaba’s vast restructuring, with Wu set to serve as CEO of Alibaba’s cloud division concurrently.
