Chinese ecommerce platform Alibaba will offer over 80 million discounted products during its annual Singles’ Day shopping festival, which includes price reductions on its Tmall and Taobao sites.

This comes amid signs of low consumer confidence in China, which follows the country’s slower-than-expected economic recovery from the pandemic.
